Tried to find this katakana word meaning over the internet but no success..

any one know this word ベラボー ?

absurd、unreasonable, awful

べらぼうに高い outrageous, absurdly expensive

It's not necessarily a katakana word. Maybe just katakana for emphasis or stylistic reasons.
From the various english words I've seen attached to it it may not be one for the grandparents or classroom. 笑
