Support for languagepod101 to be the new name

How many of you guys here support the name to be languagepod101, please response here, I really think Jpod101 should do revote. I don't know why languagepod101 is not one of the option.

I wasn't even aware this was put up to a vote. Since this site is geared directly at the Japanese language, I see no reason why it should be changed to a more general title. Besides, at this point I can't imagine hearing anything but hai, japoniizu poddo ichi maru ichi de gozaimasu when I start one of the lessons.

The new name is for the company that runs this site, as well as all of it's sister sites. (most of which you will find links to at the bottom of the page) AFAIK, they aren't re-naming this site, or any of the other language learning sites.

I agree that LanguagePod101 would be a most fitting umbrella name for all our ~Pod101s. That being said, I took a quick peek at iTunes and discovered that there is already a company(?) using the name LanguagePod. In their case, it's LanguagePod51 GLA. They have several Pods. English, German, Japanese (I think), Korean(?), Russian(?) and French.

In any event, perhaps we don't have LanguagePod101 as one of our options because it simply isn't available. What a shame, because, as I said, I agree it's a most fitting name.

I don't know if this is a recent development ... but have you guys checked this site out before posting?

It is definitely owned by the parent company of JP101 and thus, no worrying necessary.
