Hi,
I've been reciting some English tongue twisters to help fend off the local accent and keep my pronunciation crisp.
It occurred to me that this might be a good way for people to practice their Japanese pronunciation both with vowels and with intonation. I tried to do a few, but honestly I don't know if I'm doing it right.
I think this would be a really great lesson for people (especially those who are new to the language) to practice listening and speaking.
I found this site which has a few Japanese tongue twisters:
http://www.uebersetzung.at/twister/ja.htm
Does anyone else have a favorite Japanese tongue twister or know of another site which might be helpful?
I'd really love to see this end up in a lesson!
Thanks,
- Terry
P.S. I'm a premium member, if that helps my chances any.
