Postby taipeiguy » March 23rd, 2008 3:05 am

Could someone please explain the difference between tashika and yappari?

Thanks!

tashika can be "certain" in the sense of "it is certain that..." or as an interjection meaning "if memory serves..." yappari means "as I thought."

It seems like I should write more, but I think that about covers it.

確かに is "of course" or "it's certain"

but by itself 確か is something like "if i remember correctly" 8)
