Pay per use

Postby kagekitsune » February 27th, 2008 5:32 pm

I work a lot on short notice so sometimes I can use japansepod101.com everyday but most of the time this is in a short stint of time (1-3 days every 2 months or so). I had a monthy account that I cancelled simply because I didn't use it once in a month (had no time). If there was an option to pay something like $.10 per lesson pdf that would be a great asset to those of us who wouldn't use a full month's worth of content.

Just my 2 cents.

You can buy PDF's for $1 at the Store, but the basic monthly subscription is so cheap you're probably better off getting that and downloading what you need in advance.

I think most people would see the $1 as a little expensive. The product itself at least has 'I'd buy that for a dollar!' value, but not when you compare the price to the subscriptions. Maybe adding 10 or 20 for $X with a decent bulk save amount, or lesson packs that include the review tracks, video vocab, etc, would encourage more people to buy. But hey, I don't have access to the sales statistics
