BL Cafe/Butlers Cafe!^^

Postby Ulver_684 » November 2nd, 2007 3:03 pm

Mina-san!

I was reading a http://www.J-list.com e-mail newsletter the other day and I heard about BL Cafe!
It's in Ikebukuro in a street called Otome Road (Maiden Road) for Yaoi Otaku. There is a restaurant called Lily Rose staffed wth incredibly attractive 'men' but they are women who are dressed as yaoi-esque males, complete with male names like Keisuke-kun. They are know has "gyaru-son" which it combines the word "gal" with "son" to make "garcon". I"ll want to go there and eat or work there when I go to Japan so does anyone have anymore information about this? What's the address? Any clues?

Now why would women or men want to eat in a restaurant staffed by women dressed as effeminate men instead of true nature men?

One Patron is said: "Because the staff are really women, men can eat without fear of a man trying to pick up on them, allowing them to take in the beauty of the 'men' around as they enjoy the food" or what do you think?

:oishii: :kanpai:

Sindyさん、 personally i'll go with the maids 8)

that said, the so-called "new half show" is surprisingly popular with middle aged businessmen. it's basically a cabaret show performed by drag queens. hehehehehe.
not sure why the businessmen love it so much, but they do!

Personally I think that either of the two would be fun, My problem is that I live too far away to go to any as I am in the United States.
