Podcast Information?

First of all a question;
are the technical staff overstretched
since the advent of spanish, english, italian pods etc?
or just really busy?
i've been wondering myself that perhaps they need
more technical staff
to keep up with
new demands

i make this an offical request
as it seems the only jpod staffer to
read the forums is
marky star

i have been a listener for most of the existence of jpod
and this has always
been on my mind
since
the beginning

i have mentioned it
several times
but
are there no more updates until
july?

could we please be able to edit the information in the
podcasts
thus removing romaji and adding kanji?

i know we can do this on itunes
but
we can't view it on an ipod in the changed format.

i'm no techie
but
it doesn't seem to be
difficult.

this is important to my own learning
and if it could be done
i would be very greatful

changing the Lyrics and changing the iTunes Info are 2 different things.
iTunes Info is viewable when you push the center button, Lyrics are not.

i was promised iTunes Info for all the premium audio by Jan. 1 2008, but it hasn't come to be. which leads me to believe that it's not as easy as it seems. but i'm not a techie either, so i can't really say more than that.

Don't be so sure. >.> I haven't worked much on the iTunes side of things, so don't blame me.

I'm not sure what the difference here between "iTunes info" vs lyrics you're talking about here is?

hahahaha, i was hoping someone could shed light on it....

in the Podcast directory of iTunes, if you look under Description, to the right of each description you'll see an (i) Info icon. if you click that you'll see the same information that pops up when you click the center button on your iPod. (jason, the last field in WP where it says "post specific settings for iTunes" is how we edit that info. i probably need to contact charles to remind him about this, lol.)

unfortunately, i don't know how to edit it from iTunes. someone just told me you can do it with Logic, but i haven't tried myself. i'm sure some other applications do it, probably mac-based applications, but as i don't use mac... i really can't say.

Lyrics are a tag that you can modify when you right click an audio file in iTunes and you can edit any of those fields.

I just had a look through Logic Express 8, but I don't see anything about iTunes info anywhere. I checked everywhere I could think. Export. Bounce. Looked through all the other menus. I don't see anything in the help file about it either.
