actually that's not true.
for free lessons:
newbie, beginner = romaji and trans
lower intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate = hiragana and trans
premium lesson
everything = kanji, hiragana, romaji, trans!
you sure? i just check on itunes and on my ipod, and the beginners are just romaji, but the survival phrases have vocab and kanji words...
