はじめまして!

Postby i_broke_down » December 20th, 2007 9:15 pm

皆さんはじめまして、
私はSteveです。

Hey, just wanted to drop in and say hey... I finally got a subscription to this great site, the anniversary special discount just pushed me over the edge.

Anywho, I've been studying Japanese for a little while now. Mostly self taught with the help of Japanese for busy people. I lived over there for a few years but didn't actually learn any Japanese while I was there

Just finished up Japanese 101, will be moving on to Japanese 102. I'm planning on taking all the college courses on Japanese that I can and augmenting it with this site and all the other books I've collected over the last couple years.

Well, I look forward to some good Japanese practice!

A solid one star =)

I know basic sentence structure, I know enough to do simple tasks like order food or use some basic verbs. Can't really carry a conversation past that. I think my reading and writing is slightly better than my spoken. I can read hiragana & katakana no problem and can recognize maybe aqround a hundred or so kanji. I write simple e-mails to my japanese friends from time to time and they can understand me, but usually reply in english.

So I could probably pass the JLPT 4 test, but 3 might take some studying.
