What day?

Postby Energist » December 4th, 2007 6:32 pm

Okay, so If I wanted to say like... 'What day is the test?' would it be 'テストはなんようびがありますか。' ? Thanks!

I suppose so..
Or maybe, テストはなんようびですか?

Probably be best to wait for an expert to reply though.

Sometimes if I'm unsure of how to write something, I'll search for it on google. If it comes up many times on Japanese websites, it's probably correct.

Now that I read it, I'm pretty sure you're right, cause I wanna know when the test is, not if there is one, so it'd be desuka instead of arimasuka XD

何曜日 (なんようび) means day of the week. If you wanted to ask what the day (as in date) was, you could say:

テストは何日ですか (なんにち)
