Okay, so If I wanted to say like... 'What day is the test?' would it be 'テストはなんようびがありますか。' ? Thanks!

何曜日　（なんようび）　means day of the week. If you wanted to ask what the day (as in date) was, you could say:

テストは何日ですか　（なんにち）
