It is cool. Don't you think so?

I just came back from AT&T shop, I tried the iphone and it works PERFECTLY for Jpod101. It displays Japanese very nicely, no problem with PDF. I really love it so much and I am going to buy it. :D

There's other phones with the same capabilites. Many don't have the touch screens, but the iphone just has some drawbacks.

i'd buy the iphone if it came with 30gb hdd... heeh. having a nice big screen but without the storage capacity to store loads of movies and music isn't that good a thing.

Ha...I don't think I will enjoy watching movie on the small screen anyway.I rather watch it on my 24' monitor. :D

i don't have an iPhone, but we have an iPod Touch here at the office to test how our site works with it. i personally haven't given it a full test run yet, but i know the PDF's work - pretty cool!
but as there is no Center Button like on other iPod models, i couldn't figure out where the transcript was for each audio file. i'm sure it can display it, but i'm not sure how or where it was.

way cool.... you get the ipod touch for free!

i'm suspecting by tapping on the screen anywhere just once, would function like the center button.

i'll let you know if i find out.

hahahahaha, i wish...
actually, i'm much happier with my iPod Video for the time being (in particular hard drive space)

but if you tap the screen while the podcast is playing it just toggles the scroll bar for time.

seems weird that they would skip this feature, especially since iTunes itself supports it. maybe with a later firm wear upgrade...かな~

yea.. i just realized that... i went to watch a demo for the iphone over on youtube. tapping the screen (effectively the album art area) gets you the time bar...

if i walk into an apple store, i'll ask them abt lyrics and how to get there.

A decent chunk of the site works. But anything that uses Flash or Java will not as mobile Safari doesn't have them yet. The audio of the line-by-line transcripts in the LC are one thing that doesn't work.

iPod Touch limitations

Postby dshadoff » November 24th, 2007 5:00 am

I can see the PDF's if I browse to the website, but since I am downloading them with the RSS feed, is there any way to download them to the iPod Touch, so I don't need wireless access ?

Also, if/when the lyrics become available in an iTunes update, could somebody post a reply, informing us (if I'm the first to find out - not likely - I will).
