Little Tokyo - Los Angeles

Ok so after being called on my chickenhood yesterday we are finally going to head on down to Little Tokyo this weekend for lunch and shopping and practice. Can anyone recommend any places to visit or any phrases I should make sure to commit to memory outside of the obvious?
