email sounds in japanese?

Postby nilfisq » July 2nd, 2007 7:45 am

みなさん
i am currently looking for "you've got mail" sounds in japanese for my email application. i found hundreds of sounds on the internet but none of them are in japanese.
does anybody know of a good site or maybe has a nice sound to share? :)

Since this has been here for so long without a reply, perhaps you need to create one. May I suggest 「メールがあります」

i use the japanesepod intro as ringtone; people are really surprised to hear "ohayou tokyou, konbanwa..." when my cell phone rings :D :D

On my phone, I have a recording of a Federal Signal 3T22 set as the ringtone for my dad (a fire cheif). It sure attracts some attention when it rings.

Sorry, I overlooked the first line of your first reply. Simply use any audio recording program. I personally like audacity.

i have a ringtone which i don't use. it's in japanese, and i think it says something about "i'm not here at the moment, so leave a message, name and number."

it doesn't really fit that well that's why i stopped using it. if you want it, i can post it up somewhere.

haha, that's a nice sound file... it is not really a ringtone, but it would be nice to have this as a voicemail message.
