you know that's a very valid question.. as i was translating your phrase, i was wondering the same thing to myself too... most of the verbs can be inferred in the sense, you can't "read" an anime or a drama, nor can you "watch" a manga... so if you say that to a japanese (i have), they will understand what you're trying to say... but i know there are definitely verbs to fill in to make it more complete...
for example, mite みて is the verb for "see" or "look", which might be used with anime or drama, but i don't know how to put them together.
and i don't know the verb for "read".. ごめん...
