Redheads learning Japanese

Postby vandalking » October 10th, 2007 11:59 am

Hellon everyone,

I just wanted to share an observation I've made and find out if its just me or if any of you have similair experiences. What I have noticied is that women that learn Japanese are very often redheads. Given the skin tone and skin pigments are fairly unique for redheads you can tell there are natural, but even if its a dye job it's still interesting I think. My evidence is,
1. Teacher I knew in high school
2. First female non-japanese in the NHK video series
3. 2 girls on youtube
4. girl in Brad Pitt 503 jeans ad
5. girl in Japanese class

In fact, i've never seen a non-redhead caucasian women who can speak fluent Japanese. I don't know that many obviously, but the facts don't lie. Weird right?
