icon on the taskbar.

Does the language bar show up at all? If it does, you may need to right click on it and choose "Adjust language bar positon" to be able to see the whole thing.

Arigato gozaimashita!

有賀と 御座いました。

ありがと ございました。

Both correct?

But I still got a little problem with my dates, times and days. They show in japanese. Down in the right corner, it is japanese. Even though my language is set to norwegian

kind of late... but if you're still lurking about, here's your reply...

you can type 日本語 directly into the forum. it's the same as typing it into your notepad. just make sure when you are about to type a post or a message, keep an eye on the language bar. it has a tendency to jump back to English when you click certain places.

while you're typing the post, you can also switch back and forth between english and japanese by changing the language bar.

you'll get the hang of it after awhile.

Good writing tablet for kanji entry using IME/Win 7?

Postby Andygakusei » May 2nd, 2010 7:41 pm

Hello,

Anyone have any recommendations regarding a good writing tablet to enter Japanese kanji/hiragana/katakana using the IME Pad of the Windows 7 Japanese keyboard entry setup? I am currently using a mouse right now for entry but I think it would be a lot easier with a tablet. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I purchased a laptop in China, and I am absolutely unable to type in Japanese. I easily installed the windows version on the laptop that I purchased in the United States, but am having trouble with all electronics (computers, cellphones) that I have bought in China. Does anyone know a workaround? I have also tried to install the google version, but no luck on my Chinese laptop.
Thanks.
