this guy sounds a bit offended too.

jeez lighten up you japan nerds!

Yeah! Cause racism, stereotypes and ignorance rule!! LoLZ!]

And in case you thought he was joking about that page, here's a quote from elsewhere on his site:
"Japs are pretty fucking dumb, and generally have a lot of money to waste on totally unnecessary shit (case in point: Sony U-series vaio), so waiyaresu is a perfect product for japs."

Bueller_007-san!

Yes your right! :o

Mina-san I already said that he is saying the true and truths hurt so he is not joking. BUT lets just move on and improve to become better tomorrow so guy's like him don't write this type of articles anymore in the future.

This is meant as a joke but it's like the most jokes, a tweaked reality hehe. I mean all of this IS true but a tad exaggerated. I mean I don't know about the girlfriend stuff but for anime geeks etc, it totally fits in with my class. I'm glad I study japanese on my own now. People, people... You could joke about everything! :)

If you read the rest of his site, it becomes very hard to consider the article "just a joke."

I agree, but the owner of that site is not the original author the piece. The site where it first appeared was the blog of a guy studying Japanese and Korean but it has been gone for a few years now. I forget his name at the moment

At least THE ARTICLE (haven't seen the rest of the page) is funny to me since it's so true, honestly. I mean haha we were about 20 people in my class, most of them were geeks thinking japanese would be easy as in anime haha and by the end of the first week we were 6 people left. This is why I have to study on my own, because of low interest. And it is kind of true that japanese may seem odd at first. I have to leave my european language logic elsewhere when studying japanese.

I've done quite a bit of various freelance-type translation work (sites, tv, manga etc) and looking at his name I saw the name timecop which I've heard somewhere before. I have no clue where, but I remember someone saying something bad about him....

The article may be quite satirical it is still utterly pointless imho. The rest of his site contains similar uninteresting material.
