Hey I was wondering if we could use this worldwide community to help remembering some words in a funny way:
I'll try to be as clear as I can:
Do you have in your native language some words that sound like words in Japanese but has another meaning? That's a good way to remember words I think! If I wasn't clear enough here are some examples in my language(French):
- ぎりぎり (just barely) ==> The word we say when we tickle babies
- かっか「閣下」 (his excellency) ==> well this one is a bit strange when
heard in France because it means shit... so that's a total change of context when speaking to royalty!
