My goodness, when I was reading the section on kanji, it just occurred to me that in chinese, combining the words for 'horse' and 'woman' gives you 'mother'. It's not a kanji though, else it'll be even funnier. hahaha

Dang, bro lost me right there. Apparently I didn't spend all yesterday with my girlfriend and her friends speaking exclusively in japanese, or for the last 2 weeks for that matter.

The author seems to be anime focused which leads me to believe he's never gotten into the trading business at home or abroad otherwise he'd have high aspirations than just being a translator. Of course business could just be out of his scope. :roll:

Completely opposite to what this article suggests (in jest), the more Japanese girlfriends you have (provided to give an effort to SPEAK JAPANESE) the quicker you will progress. Good luck!

Ya, the anime thing just doesnt hit home.

I love the hell out of samurai champloo for the fact that it is a comedy and a damn funny one at that. But thats where my anime interest ends at the moment.
