Just a quick question, for the word blue in Japanese, do you say “あお” or “ブルー”.

Some places (books/websites) I seen said that it’s “あお” and some said “ブルー”.

Are they both right or does it change in different forms, such as the colour of something or the green/blue light on a traffic light?

For 青, せい is the onyomi (Chinese reading) and あお is the kunyomi (Japanese reading), and for 赤, せき is the onyomi and あか is the kunyomi. For more information on those readings, check out this topic!

I like the lesson, but would like to make a suggestion regarding the premium review exercises - at the moment there is only one colour out of the four multiple choice answers. Given that the lesson is on colours, it is possible to get 100% on the tests without understanding a single word of Japanese just by picking out the answer each time that is the colour - would it be possible to set up the tests so that the suggested answers are all plausible?
