Do you know how to write る (ru) in Japanese?
る (ru)
Hiragana る is written in 1 stroke.
Start with a small horizontal line, then make a diagonal line to the left. Go back a bit, create a big curve, and end with a small loop inside, distinct from は and ま as it doesn't go past the line.
Here are some examples.
