Risa: Hi everyone, this is Risa. Today we are going to do “Health and Sports Day”. Let’s go!

体育の日に運動会をする。(taiikunohi ni unndaoukai o suru.) [There is a sports day event on Health &Sports Day.]
1964年夏季オリンピック (1964nen kaki olinpikku) “1964 Summer Olympics”.
1964年夏季オリンピックは東京で開催されました。 (1964 nen kakiorinpikku wa toukyou de kaisaisaremashita.) “1964 Summer Olympics was held in Tokyo.”

体力測定 (tairyokusokutei) “Measurement of physical fitness.”
一年に一度体力測定をする。(ichinen ni ichido tairyoku sokutei o suru.) [Take physical fitness test once a year.]

運動不足とちょっと暑くなっちゃった (undō busoku to chotto atsuku natchatta)

運動会 (undoukai) “Sports festival”
運動会で一番を取る。(undoukai de ichiban o toru.) [To get the championship on sports day.]
We are the champion! ここ後が分かんない。 (koko ato ga wakan'nai.)
“To win first place in the sports festival.” Number 1!
スポーツの秋 (supootsunoaki) “ Autumn is the season for sports”
スポーツの秋、食欲の秋、読書の秋。(supootsu no aki, shokuyoku no aki, dokusho no aki.) [Autumn is the season for sports, good appetite, and reading.]
ってよく言います、ね、この三つ。(tte yoku iimasu, ne, kono mittsu.)
Today’s theme was “Health and Sports Day”. 皆さんは何か体に気をつけてしていることはありますか。(Mina-san wa nanika karada ni kiotsukete shiteiru koto wa arimasuka.)
あったらぜひ教えてください。(Attara zehi oshietekudasai.) Bye bye!
健康に気をつけてお菓子を控える。(kenkō ni kiotsukete okashi o hikaeru.) “Try to stay healthy and not eat snacks.”
