Guido-san,

We don't have "wu" in Japanese. The only sound with W is actually "wa".

Some romaji chart might have "wo" for ใ‚’, but the sound is wrong if you pronounce it

with W because ใ‚’ is pronounced just like ใŠ (i.e. [o]).

It's great that you came to conclusion that you should use proper Japanese letters:smile::thumbsup:

I was reviewing and trying to fix in memory the verbs I've learned from this course and other verbs I've gathered in my word bank...also I was trying to memorize the patterns for Type 1/Godan verbs.

Now I have finally understood that the "big secret" is that only by reading in native Japanese (not Romaji) you can guess the correct conjugation, but I've found this nice verb conjugation table...

http://nihongo.as.ua.edu/verb_table_roomaji.htm

...and I was trying to "convert" the ending to Hiragana, but at a certain point I've said

"Hey...but I don't have WU in Hiragana!"...

...and the Japanese keyboard kept converting "WU" as "ใ†"...and I remembered that verbs ending with "ใ†" gained the "W" in some declinations, so I have come up with this idea:

Might be that this is since "WU" = "ใ†", in some instances we have the "W" added (when makes sense with Japanese syllabes) and sometimes we don't have it (when it doesn't make sense with Japanese syllabes)? :-?
