| 会釈 (eshaku) |
| 敬礼 (keirei) |
| 最敬礼 (saikeirei) |
| 会釈 (eshaku) is a light bow when you greet or apologize to people. |
| 角度は15度が目安。 (Kakudo wa jū-go-do ga meyasu.) |
| 敬礼 (keirei) in Japanese is known as "salute," but this is also a name for doing a polite bow; this bow is commonly used in the business situation. |
| 角度は30度が目安。 (Kakudo wa san-jū-do ga meyasu.) |
| 最敬礼 (saikeirei) is the most polite and respectful bow to show your deep appreciation or apologize. |
