| Today, we are going to learn N3 kanji. |
| 参りましょう。 (Mairimashō.) |

| This kanji means “feeling, emotion, sympathy, mercy.” |
| The On-reading for this kanji ジョウ, セイ (jō, sei) like in 感情 (kanjō), which means “emotion.” |
| And the Kun-reading is なさ (nasa) like in 情け (nasake), which means “mercy.” |
| This kanji means “think, thought, conceive, image.” |
| The On-reading for this kanji is ソウ, ソ (sō, so) like in 愛想笑い (aisowarai), which means “forced smile, fake smile.” |
| And the Kun-reading is おも (omo) like in 両想い (ryō'omoi), which means “mutual love.” |
