Hi, everyone! Welcome to Kanji Time.
Today, we are going to learn N3 kanji.
参りましょう。 (Mairimashō.)
If you want to do the quiz first, please go to these times.
This kanji means “feeling, emotion, sympathy, mercy.”
The On-reading for this kanji ジョウ, セイ (jō, sei) like in 感情 (kanjō), which means “emotion.”
And the Kun-reading is なさ (nasa) like in 情け (nasake), which means “mercy.”
This kanji means “think, thought, conceive, image.”
The On-reading for this kanji is ソウ, ソ (sō, so) like in 愛想笑い (aisowarai), which means “forced smile, fake smile.”
And the Kun-reading is おも (omo) like in 両想い (ryō'omoi), which means “mutual love.”
片思い。 (Kataomoi.)
両想い。 (Ryō’omoi.)
This kanji means “love, affection, favorite, dear.”
The On-reading for this kanji is アイ (ai) like in 敬愛 (keiai), which means “adoration” and 愛情 (aijō), which means “love, affection.”
