| Today, we are going to learn N2 kanji. |
| 参りましょうか? (Mairimashō ka?) “Shall we?” |

| This kanji means “bottom, sole, depth, base”. |
| On-reading for this kanji is テイ (tei), like in 海底 (kaitei) which means “bottom of the sea”. |
| 海底のヒトデ。 (Kaitei no hitode.) “Starfish in the bottom of the sea.” |
| And the Kun-reading is そこ (soko), like in 上げ底 (agezoko) which means “raised bottom”. |
