こんにちは!パトリックさん,
Your Japanese sentences are correct! Well done!👍
The Google Translate interpretation is indeed odd. "Migi" (みぎ) simply means "right" in Japanese, it's not a place name. And "hidari" (ひだり) means "left", not "fold".
Keep practicing your Japanese, you're doing great! And remember, machine translations can sometimes be inaccurate, so it's always a good idea to double-check with someone proficient in the language.
ありがとうございます! (Arigatō gozaimasu! "Thank you!")

A: コンビニはどこですか。
B: ひだりにまがってください。それから、まっすぐいってください。コンビニはみぎにあります。
A: Where is the convenience store?
B: Please turn left. Then, please go straight. The convenience store will be on the right.
I hope that's right, Google Translate is coming out with an odd interpretation of my Japanese!
Here's what Google Translate thought I meant:
A: Where is the convenience store?
B: Please climb into the fold. Then go straight. The convenience store is located in Migi.
Presumably Migi is also a place name in Japan? And can "hidari" also mean "fold"?
