| Once more with the English translation. |

| “What kind of movies do you like?” |
| ホラーがすきです。 (Horā ga suki desu.) |
| “I like horror movies.” |
| First of all you'll need to learn how to say “What kind of movies do you like?” |
| That's: |
| どんなえいががすきですか。 (Donna eiga ga suki desu ka.) |
| Listen to it again: |

| "What kind of movies do you like?" |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |
| The pattern is: |
| [type of movie]+が+すきです。 ([type of movie] + ga + suki desu.) |
| This Japanese sentence translates as "[Type of movie] I like." But it means "I like [type of movie]." |
