みなさん, こんにちは!
はじめまして
さいたまのトニーです
よろしくおねがいします。
Okay, this is my first post here on JapanesePod101.
I have lived in Japan for over 2-and-a-half years now and am always seeking new (and interesting) ways to maintain my passion for learning Japanese.
In a few days I will be getting an Apple iPhone 3G to replace my aging and broken Docomo one. I am wondering if there are any forum members also getting one and if you be using it as a Japanese learning tool?
If so, then why not share how and in what wonderful way you will be using your new spiffy iPhone to improve your fluency. It just seems like the iPhone will be the ultimate hub for all my Japanese studies. For example:
To practice speaking and listening: phone someone who speaks Japanese!
To listen to audio lessons/Japanese music: switch to iPod mode.
To learn Japanese culture: watch movies via the movie player
To look-up that kanji: connect to the web for a Japanese dictionary or use an application
To practice reading: log onto a Japanese website
Etc.. it seems the possibilities are endless, especially with new applications being developed for it.
At the moment, I am exploring using OmniFocus to make lists of Japanese words that can be sync’d to and from my mac/iPhone.
How will you use your iPhone for your Japanese studies?
Regards,
Tony
