Male colloquail speech

Is it correct to say that です　can always be replaced by だ　and ね　always replaced by なあ　in male colloquail speech.

For example、”そうですね。。。”　becomes ”そうだなあ。。。”

It really depends on the guy. In general, yeah ですー＞だ, but it's not uncommon for it to just get dropped sometimes (though not nearly as common as in female colloquial speech). The ね vs な thing is more dependent on the guy. Guys who want to project a more masculine image tend to favor な. Remember, there's really no such thing as "always" when you're talking about colloquial speech. How someone speaks informally is very dependent on their personality. There are no hard and fast rules here. Only trends.

Not always. The example that I always bring up is that you can never use だ after an い-adjective. There might be other places where this rule applies, but this is the only one I know of.

i dunno... depends how formal you mean. politicians speak pretty general neuter, i think -- a native speaker could clarify this, as i'm not an expert on formal japanese, lol).

but if it's talking to someone who is a few years older than you, you have to use polite forms, but not formal ones. and you can make that polite language pretty gender specific.
