Browsing the jipod forums a week or so ago I found some interesting stuff about the way to learn Japanese is to start off LEARNING 10,000 (?) sentences - no classes, quizzes, etc., input only. Darned if I can find the material now. Can anybody help?

Very interesting.

I downloaded and printed the pdf for the kanji learning method, and have begun doing it. I did it enough to realize the benefits, and bought the book. Should come in a few days.
