As to your name, I think both ウェス and ウェズ are possible. If you think "wezu" with "z" sound is more proper, I'd recommend you to go for ウェズ. I think Wesley sounds more like ウェズリー than ウェスリー, but of course, it might vary depending on regions.

shinokto? Well, you'd have to add another vowel to be able to say it in Japanese so
shinokto -> shinokuto -> シノクト (or it could be シンオクト I suppose) again in katakana. I'm not sure about a meaning for it though.
