Industry specific Japanese terms

Postby Ksharathrao6713 » July 22nd, 2012 3:27 pm

Hi,
I am new to JPOD101.com. Is there any word list on industry specific terms? For e.g. in Banking there are terms such as finance, lending, deposit, interest, furikomi, transaction input, transaction authorization, workflow, various departments, gaitame, trade finance, etc. etc.. Similarly some common words used in IT, telecom, manufacturing, advertising and other industries would also be useful. At least 50 such words in each of the industry would be very useful information for working professionals.

Let me know if there are contents along these lines as mentioned above...

KSR-san, Hajimemashite Kon'nichiwa.

We don't have vocabularies and specialized lessons for business and industries.
However Lower Intermediate Season2 Lesson21 to 25 covers about making bank account.
Also Japanese Core 2000 Word List have some categories relating to business.
Thank you for your ideas for our products.
We'll consider those contents for the future.

As for these vocabularies, I write Japanese equivalents here.
finance: 金融 kinyuu
lending: 融資 yuushi
deposit: 預け入れ azukeire,
interest: 利子 rishi / 利息 risoku
transaction input: 取引の入力 torihiki no nyuuryoku
foreign exchange: workflow: ワークフロー waaku furoo
foreign exchange:外国為替 gaikoku kawase : 外為 gaitame
trade finance: 貿易金融 boueki kinyuu
We usually call some departmentss as 「name/」 plus 部門, bumon.
e.g. kinyuu bumon "financial department"
I hope this helped.
