About lessons with Eric

Greetings everyone!

I just started learning Japanese this year, and purchased a premium account only recently.

I'd like to know which series are done by Eric in particular. As a beginner, I find his style most appealing to me. Some of the other lessons I did were overly technical and to-the-script (therefore dreary to me). Honestly, I found them really hard to swallow. Besides, Eric shares tidbits of useful information as someone who actually lives/lived in Japan as a foreigner. Stuff that I really need since I will head to Japan soon.

I also noticed that Eric seems to have been gone for something like 10 years? I thought hosting at JPod101 was a perfect career for him. While I do not wish to intrude on his privacy, I am curious to find out what someone as talented as he is has been pursuing so far after he left the team. Is it possible for him to come back, or has he maybe left Japan altogether after this gig?

Thank you for the links, but I think this Eric you're referring to is a totally different person to the one I have in mind.
I'm talking about the Eric in Newbie Season 4 & 5. Gosh please don't tell me that is indeed Eric now.
