I will try to do so, and I hope I'm able to stick with this.

So far, I've been going through the Hiragana videos after work everyday and writing them down. I've memorized all the way through the S series, and I just finished the video on the T's today, which is where my first real challenge has come in the form of Tsu and Su.

つ and す has been my first real challenge.

At first I almost didn't hear the difference at all, and then when I finally did hear it I wasn't able to say it. So far the best tip I've found is to say Eight Suits over and over-faster and faster-and now I'm pretty sure I've got it down now. I'll have to keep practicing though to remember it. It looks like my Memo Taperecorder will be getting dusted off, and getting some practical use after all. :)

And you're very welcome! Or as I should say, Arigato Gozaimasu for the lessons and website!

watertommyz9255-san,
I know; つ and す can be a challenge for some people (depending on their mother tongue).
If you have any problem or difficulties about pronunciations (or anything really), please
let us know! We're happy to help :D

Thank you!

I've proudly finished with Hiragana, and have every character memorized, and I've actually been able to read a little Japanese now!!! I'll be moving on with Katakana tomorrow.
