Do you download and listen to each day's lesson everyday?

I have about a 20 minute drive commute so I listen to a lesson going to work (usually JapanesePod) and then one lesson returning (often EnglishPod). I often work Saturdays so I listen to Premium lesson on that day. At other times I will go back to old Beginner or Lower Intermediate lessons since they have the most commonly used vocab for everyday casual use.

I found JapanesePod101.com by accident while browsing the iTunes store for anything Japanese in January 2008, and it has completely changed how I use my iPod and my music-listening habits ever since - I almost never listen to music anymore on my iPod! I don't know if anyone else does this, but I started with the very first lessons and I've been downloading all the lessons month-by-month. Then I arrange them in iTunes to play back in chronological order. I'm now up to May 2007. I download several months at a time. I listen non-stop on the way to work and back, and when walking the dog. Occasionally I listen to the new lessons, too, since the new lessons have so many more nice add-ons like review tracks, video vocab, etc.

One thing I find annoying is that podcasts downloaded through My Feed play on the iPod once and then stop and return to the main menu - instead of continuing on to the next podcast. You have to go back through several menus until you find your way back to the next podcast in the list (and the file names are so long you have to wait for the title to scroll past 'Lower Intermediate Lesson #77 - LI2:' part before seeing if it's part one or two, etc.). The only way around this that I know is to download one at a time and arrange them in iTunes to play as normal sound files.

Since getting interested in Japanese, I've bought ten different books to teach myself, but JapanesePod101.com is an indispensible part of learning Japanese because books cannot really help you with listening practice (not to mention informal Japanese). Thanks for all the great lessons!

I just subscribed to the Premium lessons this morning. I downloaded all of the beginner feeds with all of the Audio options. I listen to it while I'm working, on the way home and on the way to work in the car.

Up until now a lot of it has been review for me but it's refreshing to see how much I've remembered.

Peter, Natsuko, Take, etc... are all fantastic and the lessons are really fun to listen to. I look forward to months of learning!

I've been listening to Nihongo Dojo and Survival phrases lately. God I HATE these Japanese keyboards!!

Anyway, I listen to advance Japanese from the students, teachers, and people on the train, so it's good to hear words I can actually understand from these two levels.

Well I've just started and I usually spend like 2 or 3 days memorising one lesson.
So I don't listen to every one every day, no. I'll never catch them up!

I am trying to get through the beginners lessons to move on to the Intemediate lessons. I hit the survival phrases pretty hard before Japan.
I have been studying for some years now, and through my friend's online school I have a good bottom level vocabulary (I was able to take care of most things in Japan without English assistance).

I have poor listening skills. I do ok in the lesson slow downs, but at full speed, I only get theoverall idea. There are very few Japanese people in this area, so I have noone to listen to. When I found your site I was so glad. I hope that using these lessons I can get my audible understanding skills up and then move on to Intermediate.

I don't think I will ever catch up to each day's lessons, but I will do my best!!

BUT DON'T WAIT FOR US SLOW PEOPLE TO CATCH UP, KEEP MAKING THOSE GREAT SHOWS!!!

It's only recently that I came across this site, and I'm working my way through the intermediate sections, adding some culture classes every now and then. (Dialects first. <3)
