[Solved] My Flashcards II - The Revenge

This is more of a technical/convenient suggestion for future maintenance: When I moused over Study Tools, then clicked on Flashcards, the page loaded, then the "out of service" message box popped up. Once that happened, the page is virtually inaccessible. I couldn't click on any other links to get out of the FlashCard page, such as Dashboard, My Account, or Community. I first had to go back to the last page with the Back Button then proceed with my next step. Not a big deal, but it was a slight "annoyance." Just something to consider with the next maintenance schedule.

Are the flashcards down for maintenance this often usually?

I've had premium access for about a week and a half now and 3 of the days I've tried to study they have been down. Considering I don't have very much spare time to revise it's a bit frustrating...

I just imported Lower Intermediate Season 1 Lesson 25 into My Flashcards. There are only 9 new words in the lesson's vocabulary, BUT the deck says 96 cards are 'due now' AND they're not Japanese. They're in German and some other languages. What's going on over there, folks?
Honestly, I thought the original flashcards were much easier to use. This beta system has too many bugs.

I'm considering purchasing a premium membership, but for my studies I find the Flashcards one of the most beneficial aspects of the site. I like that I don't have to waste paper or carry around stacks of index cards to study during odd moments. How often is the Flashcard service down? Is it down often enough to cause frustration about the money I'm spending?

It depends on your patience. There's periods where it's fine for months, then, in one case, it was down for something like a week, with nobody on the tech team giving any sort of reason as to why.

If there were a decent competitor to JPod, I'd never look back.

Oh, and they're down again, tech people.

I've been using JPod101 flashcards extensively for over a year. In my experience it's really quite rare for them to be down. In fact, I can't remember the last time they were down when I went to review my cards.
