PDF to Plain Text

Postby mantradox » April 18th, 2007 4:54 am

Hi, everybody.
Recently found out, that we can use our Ipods for reading files. Just need to save it in Notes folder of Ipod as a plain text (.txt) in Unicode.
Works great with russian, english, chinese and japanese separately. But if text consists of two languages, like we have in our PDF lessons, than it is not possible to convert it to .txt without losing japanese text (same with english-chinese, russian-chinese).
Any ideas how to make it work with multylanguages texts?

i think copying the kanji from our PDFs doesnt work at all. Thats because of the way the PDFs are generated.
You can copy the transcripts from the learningcenter or use the iLearningcenter which comes with ready made iPod notes for each lesson.

You know, the Premium podcast really should make the podnotes available for download instead of the PDF...

if you have the notes in the feed, can they be sync'd with the ipod so you can use them? or does the installation of the notes stay manual?
