My iTunes is freezing. Please help :-(

Postby inugasukidesu » September 19th, 2009 7:19 pm

Hello everyone.

I have recently signed up for a 1-month premium for this website, just to try it out. I know that you can get all the audios, videos, etc. in one go with iTunes. Now here is the problem...when I click on get-all in iTunes, it freezes. I then have to manually close out the program.

I can download them individually, but that would take a very long time.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Charles :-)

I am having the same problem. Well actually, I signed up for a Premium Account and I followed the link in the 'download' section. It opens my iTunes and the 'sign in' window appears, but the whole iTunes site freezes up on me. This is very frustrating and any info on this would be welcome.

I have always found it **much** easier not to use iTunes as a podcast catcher Try using another podcast catcher, then import the tracks into iTunes

Recommendations for a pod-catcher other than iTunes that will work with JPOD101? When I clicked the download-all button it used a protocol (itpc?) that only iTunes understands.

This also happened to me a few months ago when I still had Premium access. I think it has something to do with the computer not being able to handle the amount of information that's being downloaded into the computer, so what I did was to end a few processes in the Task Manager that my computer wasn't using at that time, so that a bulk of the RAM would be freed for iTunes. It always seems to work after that. :D

Try Juice. I have been using it for several years now - it works well

Only 1 minor drawback - some files names will be very long as the download code data will be added to the file name. This is very easy to fix - just delete the unwanted part of the file name.
