More Kanji?

I've been told quite a few times that Kanji is quite vital to learn so that learning the rest of the language becomes easier. The thing is, I know that there are a lot of Kanji characters to take in (over 1,000?), but in the "Learn Kanji" section, there are very few characters. Is there some other place where I can see the rest of the characters? Thanks!
