武術

Postby tokenshi » November 23rd, 2006 3:15 am

Hi! first, let me say I LOOOOVE japanese pod, I discovered it through chinese pod and I have to say, they don't even compare! SOOO much better! Peter and the crew are awesome.

That being said, I would like to see a lesson on martial arts terms and culture in Japan, I think a lot of listeners have probably dabbled in things like aikido, kenpo, kendo, karate etc. and would definitely benefit from it!

Keep up the awesome work guys!

That's a good idea. I do aikido, but I would really like some explanation about terms like kotegaishi, sumiotoshi and so on.

For exemple, "suwariwasa". OK. I know that comes from suwaru (to sit), but how does it become "suwariwasa"?

Well, help needed here. I don't want to die as stupid as I am now.
