Kore-Sore-Are & Kono-Sono-Ano Lessons?

Hi, I tried to use the search engine within the "Browse Lessons" option in the JapansePod101 iOS App but I couldn't find any beginner lessons explain the use of kore and kono.
Could you please let me know which lesson cover this topic?

Can't help you with finding a lesson, but the difference between the two is fairly straight forward:

"Kore" (as well as "sore" and "are") is a noun, and is used on its own as such: "Kore wa pen desu." "This is a pen."

"Kono" (as well as "sono" and "ano") is more like an adjective, and needs to be paired with a noun. "Kono pen wa akai desu." "This pen is red."
