Star Wars

Postby dukey13 » May 28th, 2006 7:29 am

I wonder if JPod101 could talk about Star Wars and katakana properly. How do you say shoot, "May The Force Be With You!!" etc.

Just curious. I hope that's OK.

メーユ ゼ フォース ビー ウィズ ユー

Maybe that's how you should spelled with katakana :P

Don't think you need the last "yu" in "May"

メー ゼ フォース ビー ウィズ ユー

Wouldn't it be 'za'? As in, メイ・ザ・フォース・ビー・ウィズ・ユー? (I always thought it was 'za' if it preceeds a consonant and 'ji' if a vowel follows it, but seeing as I just concluding that myself over time I might be wrong.)

In Japanese, フォースと共にあらんことを.
