Kanji / Kana spacing in the PDFs

In the dialog transcript section of the PDFs, It would be nice if the kanji and kana were spaced so that they appeared in roughly the same location as each other, so that when you are reading along the kanji side, and come to a kanji that you're unsure of, you don't have to scan around on the kana side to find the reading.
Example (though contrived, conveys the point)：

Notice that even though you could put a few more kana on the first line on the kana side, since takai would not have fit on the kanji side, both sides add a line break (again the example is contrived). This way, on longer dialogs you could quickly look in roughly the same location on the kana side to find the reading of an unknown kanji.

Or ... you can put in furigana above each kanji.

Does any of this make sense? What do others think, good idea or a waste of time?

Seems like a lot of work for those producing the PDF. From what I understand it is mostly automated software producing them from scripts, making what you describe even more dificult. As for furigana, it has been discussed many times here already.

And the spacing is unnatural. Japanese isn't really written that way.
