The Core 2000 list is a word list created first in English and after translated into Japanese. Due to it, there were some words that had no connection with Japanese or Japanese culture. To improve our website quality, we decide to remove those words. that's why the list became a little shorter than it used to be.

So the missing words are actually words that you'd never use or need in Japanese.
