suzumebachi and other crawlies

ok so i was just wondering is there a way to successfully survive an incounter with those infamous wasps or am i just screwed.
secondly i would like to know if there are any other japan specific bugs to worry about?

You know what? I HATE bugs!!!!!! So, I'd say personally there're lots of bugs to worry about...!
The best is always avoid wasps and any bugs, try not to aproxmate them whenever you find one.
For those irritating mosquitos, there're anti-mosquito sprays and lotions available at any drug stores.
Hope you won't have any problems....
