Japanese Story Time

After spending a few days trying to find incredibly simple Japanese children stories to read with little success, I decided to just give a go at making my own.

Here's the first one: これはなんですか？　あ,い,う,え,お

これはなんですか。
「えんえん、えんえん！」
あかちゃんです。

それはなんですか。
「わんわん、わんわん！」
いぬです。

それはなんですか。
「もーもー、もーもー！」
うしです。

あれはなんですか。
「けろけろ、けろけろ！」
えっと、かえるです。

あれはなんですか。
「わおーーーーーーん！」
えっと、えっと！あれはいぬではありません。。。あれはおおかみです！！！


Any help on grammar or what not would be appreciated! Anyone else have an absolute beginner story to tell?

EDIT: I changed some of the kore's to sore's/ are's.

Children's books (and even some TV programmes) are very usuful and I actually always recommend those
materials to people who want to learn languages.
