教育ですか…、僕もちょっと奮発してみようかな。ただの受け売りですが、名言だと言えよう。孟子曰く「天下ノ英才ヲ得テ之ヲ教育ス。」返り点をつけてみます。得（二）天下英才（一）而教育（二）之（一）。

奈津子先生、最近、趣味程度で漢文をやってます。漢文訓読法に興味があります。でも歴史的仮名遣いと昔の四段や二段やラ変やナ変活用が苦手。やっぱり現代日本語を最優先に（汗。ということで、漢字源は欠かせない一冊（っていうかスマホのアプリです）。

マイケルさん、今どき、辞書を買うより、辞書のアプリをダウンロードしよう！漢字源は漢字の辞書で、漢文を読む（解く？）時や、漢字の由来を知るための辞書で、日本語の勉強にはそれほど重要なもんじゃなくて、無視してもいいです。

I understood your sentence as the spaceship was made from expired credit cards, not just partially but all the (maybe)
outer parts. It might be better if you say;
僕の宇宙船は、期限切れのクレジットカードを使って作られたよ。
僕の宇宙船全体が、期限切れのクレジットカードから作られているんだよ。
僕の宇宙船は、期限が切れて使えなくなったクレジットカードを再利用して作られたんだよ。
I think the best (natural) would be the last one.
This is a typical Japanese aspect, but sometimes a modifying word like 全体的に can allow the sentence to be understood in different ways. Unless you word 期限切れのクレジットカードを全体に使って or similar, 全体的に　
sounds more like modifying "expired credit cards".
It was a funny and difficult sentence! さすが、エリックさん 8)

「破片」といえば、ふりがなは、普通に「はへん」ですけど、「かけ」を見たこともある。それは、ただの誤字ですか。それとも、昔の読みですか。見つけた本はこれ、

夏目漱石の小説は、ちょっと古い言葉をよく使っていますから、今の標準の日本語とは違う事があります。
私は文学が苦手なので（ ）、夏目漱石の小説はちょっと難しく感じますが、例えば「破片」を「かけ」と読むのは
独特な読み方で、少し詩的だと思います。「星の破片を・・・」の後に「首肯いた」という言葉がありますね。
読み方は「うなずいた」となっていますが、普通は、「うなずく」は「頷く」（たまに「肯く」）と書きます。
でも「首肯く」の方が「首を、肯定するように動かす」という意味では分かりやすいです。

なので、「破片」を「かけ」と読むのは間違いではありませんが、標準の現代日本語では
ほとんど使われていないと思います。

なるほど、ステゴザウルスの背中にあるのは、大皿だったんですね
食事の時に、１枚ずつ取って使うんですね

I just didn't quite understand where キリキリ came from... "at once"?

Wel, I thought it meant "at once", "right now", "instantly". I guess I am mistaken　

Actually without キリキリ, it's already perfect

So ... adding "at once" or "right now" is unnecessary?

I guess that if you use a command like "hanase!" (放せ, "Let go!") or "damare!" (黙れ, "Shut up!"), you obviously mean "right now" so you don't really need to say it. Is it the same for other commands like these?
