Learning Japanese Using JapanesePod101

I'm trying to figure out the best way to learn Japanese on JapanesePod101, and would like to know which would be better to do: follow the learning path set up by the website, or go through each lesson set (such as Absolute Beginner season 1, 2; Newbie season 1, 2, etc.)
