What is the difference between "kudasai" and "

Postby brianut3948 » November 29th, 2010 6:26 am

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry for asking such a basic question but I am really confused about when to use "kudasai" and "onegaishimasu". Could someone please help me out? I am a total newbie and any examples or explanations are much appreciated. Thank you all so much. This website is a true blessing for anyone learning Japanese!

I think Kudasai is "please" and onegai ishi masu is more like "if you will" but it really depends on the context
